The maths: which size is actually cheapest?
Price per tank is only half the story — what matters is price per gram of gas. A 3.3L tank holds around 2,000g of N₂O, roughly the equivalent of 260 standard 8g chargers, which is why venues going through more than about 30 chargers a day almost always come out ahead on a large tank. Combos push it further: at today’s listed prices, three Skywhip Pro Max 3.3L tanks bought separately are $90 each, but the 3-pack combo is $190 — $80 saved on one order. If you’re buying regularly for a cafe, bar or catering kitchen, wholesale pricing beats the public rates again.
Why the cheapest nangs are usually a bad sign
If a price looks too good, ask what got cut. In this market it’s usually one of three things: gas that isn’t certified food-grade, stock that’s been stored badly or resold through too many hands, or a delivery promise that quietly evaporates after you pay.
